A widowed bride’s longing for peace goes terribly wrong. A doctor driven by hatred creates a ghastly weapon. A soldier made of sorrow offers a helping hand. A young artist yearns to be free and finds her path from an unexpected guide. Each story will bring you to a different part of your imagination, a roller coaster of fear and emotion. You’ll never know what to expect, so enjoy the ride.
Inspired by the beautiful Egyptian Theater in Boise, Idaho, “Last Text” is a story of obsession and inner torment leading to a terrible truth hidden in the vast forests of Northern California, and a century of unknowable dread.
“Life Songs” is a collection of poems I wrote from age 11 to 25. When I was 50, I responded to that child and young adult, looking to heal her and hopefully touch the hearts of anyone who might find comfort in the pain and laughter. It is a compassionate reflection on survival.
